Author Guidelines

The PRIME Journal of Management, Innovation, and Sustainability publishes scholarly works in the field of management with a strong emphasis on innovation and sustainability. All manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Submissions must strictly follow the journal’s template and formatting requirements.

Types of Manuscripts and Sections

The journal accepts manuscripts under the following three sections:

  • Research Articles: Original empirical studies employing quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches that demonstrate methodological rigor and clear theoretical and/or practical contributions.
  • Conceptual & Review Articles: Conceptual papers and review-based studies, including systematic literature reviews, bibliometric analyses, and theory development articles that provide integrative insights and identify research gaps.
  • Policy & Practice Perspectives: Analytical and reflective articles that connect academic research with policy formulation and managerial practice, offering evidence-informed insights and actionable recommendations.

General Submission Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word using A4 size (210 × 297 mm) with margins: top 2 cm, bottom 2 cm, left 3 cm, right 3 cm.
  • Submissions are accepted only through the Online Journal System (OJS) at journal website.
  • All authors must be listed during submission, including full names, affiliations, and email addresses.
  • Manuscripts must be written in clear English, single-spaced, and carefully proofread prior to submission.
  • The manuscript length should not exceed 10,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.

Article Structure

  • Title (English)
  • Author Information (Name, Affiliation, Email)
  • Abstract (150–250 words; Policy & Practice Perspectives: max. 200 words)
  • Keywords (3–5 keywords)
  • Introduction
  • Literature Review / Theoretical Background
  • Methodology (if applicable)
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgments (if any)
  • References

For Conceptual & Review Articles and Policy & Practice Perspectives, the structure may be adjusted as appropriate while maintaining logical coherence.

Title, Abstract, and References

  • The title should be concise, informative, and not exceed 15 words, centered, and written in 14 pt italic font.
  • Abstracts must be written in English, in a single paragraph, and clearly state the objectives, methods, main findings, and conclusions.
  • References must follow the APA 7th Edition style and be managed using a reference manager (e.g., Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero).
  • A minimum of 15 references is required, preferably from reputable and recent academic journals.
  • Figures and tables must be clearly numbered and formatted according to APA guidelines.

Ethical Compliance

  • Authors must submit a Statement of Manuscript Authenticity upon submission.
  • All manuscripts will undergo similarity checking (Turnitin).
  • Manuscripts with a similarity index above 25% will be rejected.
  • Authors are fully responsible for copyright, licensing, and any legal consequences arising from their work.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting, authors must ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original and free from plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or duplication.
  • The manuscript follows the journal’s template and formatting guidelines.
  • All cited references appear in the reference list.
  • References and citations are managed using a reference manager.
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
  • Authors agree to communicate professionally, ethically, and responsively during the review process.
  • The similarity index is below 25%.
  • Submitted manuscripts cannot be withdrawn, as withdrawal disrupts the editorial and peer-review process.
